Healthcare Mortuary Equipment
For over 60 years, Hannams has been designing and producing a range of quality medical equipment items for use within all departments in both public and private hospitals throughout Australia. Our range includes stainless steel blanket and solution (fluid) warming cabinets, theatre and ward trolleys and mortuary equipment.
All our products are fabricated from durable and high quality raw materials to ensure that they are robust and functionally suitable for use within a healthcare environment. Meticulous attention is provided by our engineers, so that each finished article meets safe operating standards for staff as well as meeting acceptable expectations for cleaning, maintenance and storage.
Hannams has the design and manufacturing capabilities to produce all our healthcare products to a standard design or they can be fabricated to meet particular customer requirments.

Hannams is well experienced in designing and manufacturing a wide range of quality and functional stainless steel mortuary equipment for public hospital mortuaries, forensic pathology institutions, university anatomical and histology departments, funerals and pathology laboratories. Our range includes the following:-

▪ Body storage racks in either a 3 -Tier or 4-Tier configuration – mobile or free-standing,
▪ Bariatric body storage racks in either a 1 -Tier or 2-Tier configuration – mobile or free-standing,

▪ Bariatric trays to suit,
▪ Electro-hydraulic mortuary elevating trolley to lift bodies weighing 200kgs up to 350kgs or bariatric bodies weighing up to 450kgs,,

▪ Mortuary cool rooms,
▪ Stainless steel benchwork and sinks to suit.
Our mortuary equipment is produced from durable commercial grade stainless steel, 304 commercial grade or 316 marine grade with a satin polished finish. All welding is by the TIG process and all joins are seam welded, ground and polished. In this way, all crevasses are alleviated thus avoiding areas that may harbour infection.
Special design features are provided for safe handling by operators, such as radiused corners and safety edges on folded tops. Rubber bumpers of different material composites, both square or circular, are available with all trolleys in order to protect the facility’s interior surfaces, such as walls, doors and corridors.
Our standard mortuary range can be custom made to suit specific customer requirements.
